"Mommy, why can't we go out after dark?"
I look at my little sister, her eyes full of disappointment.
My mother looks at her with a sad smile and pats her head gently.
"Because sweetie, it's dangerous at night."
"But why?"
I zone out as my mother tries to avoid answering. Nobody actually knows what it is, but the first incident was last week.
They found a little girl with bite marks in her neck, completely drained of all her blood.
The police were dumbfounded, really.
They said they didn't know who or what could do such a thing.
They expect some sort of psycho killer, and so they've been telling us to stay inside since it only happe
